Middlesbrough Football Club in the Community are also the proud license holders of Middlesbrough Girls Centre of Excellence, an FA partnershipped development scheme for talented female players.

Middlesbrough Football Club in the Community have unleashed a brand new and innovative project onto the roads and highways of the Tees Valley - The Health Bus. This fully refurbished bus with state of the art interior goes out into the communities of the Tees Valley to spread vital messages and give valuable information on key topics such as healthy lifestyles, fitness, diet and nutrition.

The Willie Maddren Centre based in the East Stand of the Riverside Stadium was built specifically by MFC for community use and they continue to maintain this facility. MFC in the Community is also able to access other facilities within the stadium such as the Player's Lounge, executive boxes and function suites. MFC provides a number of complimentary tickets for every Premier leaguer game that we can use as incentives and rewards for our initiatives.

read moreThe Kickz project is a partnership formed between the Premier League, the FA, the Football League and the Football Foundation to create a youth social inclusion project. Kickz involves professional football clubs taking constructive activities onto targeted local estates with high instances of anti social behaviour (ASB.) The club and delivery partners provide three sessions per week for 48 weeks of the year at times that have been identified with high levels of crime of ASB. Delivery partnerships utliise the knowledge and expertise of steering groups and include the following; Cleveland Police, Safe in the Tees Valley, Safer Middlesbrough Partnerships, Connexions, Street Wardens, Middlesbrough Primary Care Trust, Local Youth, Leisure Services and local schools.
