Middlesbrough Baptist Church

Middlesbrough Baptist Church was set up in 1849. The Church was situated in the town centre until the 1950s when the buildings were found to be suffering from a serious structural defect - described by the insurance firm as an Act of God? The Church moved to its current building on Cambridge Road in Linthorpe in 1958. Our present pastor is Kevin Leavesley who was appointed in 2003 following two years of schools ministry work with us. Kevin is planning to complete his training at a Baptist training college.
