This has been designed as an easy and informal way to start playing golf under the supervision and guidance of a PGA Professional Instructor in a relaxed group format. Run on the same day and same time for six consecutive weeks. Regardless of level all golfers can benefit from using TrackMan as part of their training. Working on your golf swing and resulting ball flight through your TrackMan numbers, allows problem areas to be identified, resulting in fast improvement.

read moreHere at the Mearns Castle Golf Academy, we are extremely proud of the work we have done within the local community to help and support other sports clubs, charities and vulnerable groups. We use golf as a vehicle to promote social inclusion, participation and fundraising. Over the past 3 years, we have raised over 10,000 for various local charities at our annual charity golf days, longest day in golf challenge and various fun fundraising events. Golf in the Community is our way of engaging various social care projects by using golf as the vehicle to improve both the physical and social health of our golf in the community participants.

read moreThe 9 hole golf course surrounding the Mearns Castle Golf Academy is one of the most scenic and challenging courses in the area. It is open to the general public 7 days a week, and is ideal for all levels of golfers. In January 2015, the order of play was changed on the golf course to break up the Par 3 finish, and create a more challenging and exciting round of golf. Along with the continued investment in drainage and course improvements, we are working tirelessly to create the best golf course in the area.
