read moreThis project was to replace the existing stuck down carpet with vinyl flooring. We uplifted the carpet and removed before cleaning the sub floor of any old debris. We then applied a coat of P131 floor primer, shown in this picture (green). This ensures the adhesion of the latex/smoothing compound ready to receive the new floor covering. This picture shows the floor covered in new vinyl flooring. This has been fully adhered to the floor. The joints have been heat welded, edges sealed with clear mastic.
