read moreOriginally established on the 1st January 1975, the company was one of the first Hoover Service Centres, specialising in repairs to Hoover domestic appliances. By 1976 the company had a showroom displaying and retailing all Hoover appliances with repairs being carried out in customers homes and in a purposely built workshop. In 1978 the portfolio was extended to include not only the repair of Hoover products but also most makes of built in appliances. Over the following years the company expanded not only to cover the original base in Sheffield but included Halifax, Huddersfield, Wakefield, part of Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley with multi-skilled engineers covering cooking, cooling (including re-gas) and laundry products.
