Manchester Neurotherapy Centre is a Bobath physiotherapy clinic run by an experienced staff of Bobath physiotherapists specialising in neurological rehabilitation. It supplies highly specialised treatment for all individuals with neurological disabilities, cerebral problems and paralysis as well as being a venue for postgraduate Bobath courses run by the Neurological Teaching Centre. Our priority is to supply the best quality stroke rehabilitation and treatment for individuals with any form of neurological disability so they can achieve their maximum potential.

read moreWe are complying with all of the government regulations and the guidelines outlined by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). This involves individualised risk assessment for all our patients prior to attending the clinic. This is especially important for those patients who are unable to have face to face treatment, or who are looking for an alternative to hands on physiotherapy at the moment. We have adapted our clinic environment to implement stringent safety measures. All MNC staff have undergone PPE training to minimise the risk to our staff and patients.

read moreThe price of treatment depends on a number of factors such as whether the treatment is at the clinic or in your home, the length of the session and whether there are two therapists involved. For details please contact us to discuss your needs. Usually sessions are one hour but some patients, particularly those travelling from some distance or staying for intensive periods such as when coming from abroad, elect to have sessions of 90 minutes or even occasionally 2 hours. A small number of patients who are unable to manage to work for a full hour may have shorter sessions.
Clinical Placements
read moreMNC has close links with local universities and is pleased to have been asked to provide an annual four week prize placement in association with Manchester Metropolitan University. This is an undergraduate placement for those individuals who demonstrate a keen interest in the field of Neurological Physiotherapy, and in particular the Bobath Concept. On occasion we have taken undergraduate students from other universities for a maximum of two weeks as an elective placement. These placements are not assessed as students are unable to work independently with our patients.
