M Hanzlik

The name HANZLIK has been associated with Locks and Keys in Northamptonshire for over sixty years. My father, Josef, a Czech immigrant, set up his locksmithing business in a tiny whitewashed lock-up garage in Kettering, where he made keys, repaired and rebuilt antique locks and carried out all other kinds of the locksmith's work. He soon became known as Joe the Locksmith and in 1951, he was featured on the BBC radio programme Down your Way presented by Richard Dimbleby
