Asthma reviews are available at various times throughout the week with our clinical pharmacist, Clare Cannon. Your asthma review can be carried out face to face or over the telephone. A smear test is a 20 minute appointment and can be made at any time throughout the week. Smear tests can be booked with our practice nurses Olena Rudyuk or Ruth Shurley, or one of our GP's Dr Shackleton or Dr Khin.

You can send any non-urgent medication queries via Engage Consult for our clinical pharmacist to review. You must create an account to be able to use this service. GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time.

read moreIn October 2020 we submitted an application to change the practice boundary at Lyngford Park Surgery. This has been approved and the boundary change will take effect from 1st February 2021. What is happening? Currently we take patients from a large catchment area across the north of Taunton as well as many villages located around the southern end of the Quantock Hills. Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), which allocates health spending for the county, has agreed to redraw our boundary, which will impact those living in villages to both the north and west of Taunton.
