A sandwich shop owner from Bury will get even more pleasure preparing butties for hungry shoppers - thanks to Mill Gate Shopping Centre and the hidden diamond. Wendy Wray, owner of Delicious sandwich shop in Silver Street, spotted the Win a Rock competition in Mill Gate Shopping Centre and decided to have a go at guessing how long it would take for the sculpture containing the diamond ring to melt. It was 61 hours and 25 minutes and Wendy's guess was the closest. Now, 43 year old Wendy is showing off her a diamond ring worth J600 with pride.
