The problem with this kind of flat roof is that if maintenance is needed or there is a leak from the flat roof, it's very difficult to find the leak, as you will see large areas of the insulation have to be removed, just to look at the flat roof covering.

I can attend the property and carry out repairs to the main roof around the solar panels and the area around the skylights for the sum of 220+vat normally repairs will work and last for over 6 months however I cannot guarantee to firstly find the exact problem and secondly if I find it guarantee it will last, however using some of today's new roofing products we have a great success rate.

The lead on these flat roofs is beginning to oxidise and break up before the end of its lifespan. Lead on roofs and flat roofs are supposed to last 30 to 60 years with very little maintenance. What we see more and more is lack of ventilation and roofs sweating; this problem is happening because of the lack of ventilation under the lead flashings.

read moreI am in the US and have been told by 3M that the SD650 is not available in the US nor do they expect it to be available any time soon. Do you know of any com parables that might be available in the US? The SD650 looks like just what I need. Two things go to make a roof cheaper the cost of the materials and the labour to lay the materials. Gacoroof is not only cheaper to buy by 30% its also around 50% cheaper to lay as no primers and no embedment layer, two stages that just don't have to be undertaken.
