Goodman began the local family business making quality furniture and general joinery. In those days' he made bank/building society counters made from solid mahogany and painstakingly French polished. We specialised in shop fitting, church fitting and museum counters, in fact anything that involved high class joinery or cabinetry, from the foyer of the National Museum Of Wales to wooden speedboats!
