read moreWhen a death occurs at home and the death was expected, you should ring the Doctor, who will arrive to certify the death. Once the doctor has attended please contact us on - and we will attend as quickly as possible. The deceased can then be moved to our chapel of rest at 19 St Peter Street, Blackburn whilst the arrangements are finalised. If the death was unexpected then it is normal for the Coroner to be involved. If necessary the deceased may be moved to the local hospital mortuary whilst further discussions take place.

read moreThe coffin we use is a light Oak Veneered Coffin used by most Funeral Directors. Our coffin is available in sizes up to 6'4″ x 24″ wide which will accommodate most people. In circumstances where the deceased is larger please contact us and we can make alternate arrangements.

read moreOnce you have obtained the burial or cremation from the registrar, please contact us to start the funeral process. This can be done at a time and place to suit you. Either at our main office or in the comfort of your home. We want to make it as stress free, and as relaxing as we possibly can. After the initial contact the application for cremation or burial will be completed. We will also discuss the funeral arrangements such as who will conduct the service, if any there are any music requirement to be played at the service.
