Refreshing service from a local tradey busines! Rang several companies first who failed to get back to me and had a poor attitude on the phone. After asking my friends in St Albans, I was reccomended Ideal Glass! After an extensive amount of research, and calling out almost 20 different glazing companies to quote for the job my husband and I decided to go with Ideal Glass because of the amount of information and detail that Jacob went into during the sales visits. The fitters were great; friendly, approachable and they kept us updated throughout the installation.
The service we received was really good and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their windows replaced because the quality and finish is top notch. A great local company to work with.

Having received quotes from several window fitters we decided on Ideal due to their excellent reviews. We were not disappointed. Excellent service and communication, and friendly and approachable staff. We had a small issue with one of the glass panes supplied, which Barney fixed without any question - excellent customer service!

Barney was a pleasure to deal with. Despite pressures with the covid period he kept us up to date and informed. His building team were excellent, clean, prompt and professional. Quality of work and materials faultless. We had a new porch, new patio window and kitchen doors/window as well as replacement fascia. Will definitely be using Ideal Glass in the future

First of all I'd like to say that we are delighted with our new windows. There were problems initially with the installation, one piece of glass was scratched and needed to be replaced, a number of items were missing and had to be re ordered. It took about a month for these issues to be rectified which was longer than expected. However everything is fine now, all problems rectified and the windows look amazing. Will definitely be back for more in the near future.

Ideal Glass quoted me a fantastic price to replace the old large french doors in my living/dining room with modern slim framed sliding doors. The process was smooth & communication was great. The installers were very neat and professional and I was really pleased with the outcome.

Really happy with both the products and service that I received from Ideal Glass. They were great to work with and kept us up to date with how our order was progressing. When it came to the installation, the team arrived on time, were very friendly and fixed an unexpected problem easily and with minimal fuss. We are really pleased with the end result. The doors have completely transformed the way we use our dining room and garden. Would recommend.

Beautiful design and solid workmanship! I decided on a bifolding sliding door from this company because I was fascinated with their designs. Now that I have them installed in my St Albans home, I can say that they look even better in person! The materials used in the production are durable and resistant, which gives me confidence that this door will serve me for many years. I highly recommend.

Ideal Glass have done such a fantastic job for us from start to finish! Barney was brilliant with talking us through the different options and finishes available both at the showroom and then at our home. We were kept up to date with the order & installation date, any questions or queries we had were answered promptly. The installation team were such great guys, they arrived on time every day, were professional, friendly, clean & tidy.
Nothing was too much trouble for them, what a great bunch of lads they were! We are super happy with the end result & are looking forward to a warmer & quieter winter now that the install is complete.
