read moreIn the games room you will find table tennis, pool, table football, computer games and exercise machines. In the activity playground the children can burn off energy and in our meadows to the rear of the cottages, guests are welcome to play football or cricket or just stroll around with their dogs. In the telephone room along with the payphone, you will discover a plethora of brochures describing local attractions, from which you will be able to plan your holiday. Here, you will also find DVDs, videos, books and board games to borrow.

read moreAll the cottages are on the ground floor and have easy wheelchair access throughout. Front door ramps and other aids for the elderly or disabled are available free of charge, including wheelchairs. Car parking is off-road and security lit, with space for at least two vehicles per cottage. A bus stop with a regular service to Weston-super-Mare, Bristol, Burnham-on-Sea, Taunton and Bridgwater is just outside our gate. The village shop is half a mile away and supermarkets in Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea are just a few minutes drive from Hope Farm.

The owners, Malcolm & Aline Bennett, live in the farmhouse across the courtyard and are committed to helping their guests have an enjoyable and memorable holiday.

read moreIn your cottage on arrival you should find a gift from our girls - 6 eggs [depending on the laying season]. We have Black Copper Marans, Wheaten Marans, Sussex Stars, a couple of crossbreeds and running with them is our latest addition to the flock Neville 2 our young Maran Rooster. We are hoping to incubate some eggs this summer and eagerly anticipate the results. More eggs [for eating] are available from the Farm House at 1 per half dozen which goes towards the hen's feed. Our birds are fed a balanced diet but are always ready to help by clearing up any left over bread, biscuits, corn, peas or pasta.
