Patients are amazed at how much the experience of numbing is improved by its use. Much of the discomfort associated with standard syringe injections is caused by the rapid build up of fluid in the tissues, whilst with the Wand STA the local anaesthetic solution is administered in a slow and controlled manner reducing the likelihood of pain.
