Hereward Community College
College in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
The college operated on a split site from 1973 with buildings some 250 yards apart. However, falling rolls and a capital allocation of J1. 3 million from the Department for Education and Employment to remove surplus places have resulted in an extensive building programme to locate the whole school on one site. The building work was completed in September 1997 and this coincided with a change of name to Hereward Community College. The original buildings have been remodelled and refurbished to supply Drama, Careers, Geography, History, Learning Support, Technology, Graphics, Art and a kitchen and dining room.
