We believe everyone is able to receive the life giving power of His spirit. Man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like him in character. He is the supreme object of God's creation. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called "sin". This attitude separates man from God.

This relationship with Jesus enables a Christian to call God 'Father' - as he or she has become part of his family. A Christian recognises that Jesus is their Lord and Saviour. God in his love and wisdom made us distinct from any other living creature, to live in a special relationship with him. That's why you and I were made - to know God! Sadly, every individual has either deliberately or unconsciously turned their backs on God and are separated from Him because of actions and wrong doings which Christians call 'sin'.

read moreWhen you come into Harefield Church on a Sunday morning there is always a warm welcome from a team of people. Handing out leaflets and just saying ‘Hello' can make all the difference to somebody coming into Harefield for the first time or returning to church. We are blessed at Harefield Church with great facilities. The building enables us to do so much for God and our community. Whether it's repairing a tap, painting a wall or pruning a bush, many hands make light work. When you arrive on a Sunday morning you are welcomed with the offer of a drink and biscuit.
