Set up in 1946, the Club has about 130 members and is active in many forms of motor sport. It specialises in low cost events where members can take part using their everyday cars. For those who do not wish to compete but still like to be involved, there are many opportunities to marshal on both club and national motor sport events. The Club meets at the Jolly Miller, North Warnborough, usually on the last Thursday of each month but provides the chance to go to a range of social events around the borders of Hants and Berks.

Hants & Berks Motor Club
read moreFormed in 1946 the Hants & Berks is a well-established motor club spanning the English county regions of Berkshire, north Hampshire and west Surrey. We are an all-purpose motor club, rather than a traditional one-make club, and therefore welcome a broad spectrum of owners, followers and enthusiasts who have an interest in all aspects of motoring, motor sport and the motor industry. This diversity, along with our extensive history, means the Hants & Berks Motor Club benefits from a wealth of experience and commitment from its members who pride themselves in being actively involved in supporting and organising a range of motoring events both locally and nationally.
History
read moreFor a motor club that's been running since 1946 it's inevitable that it would boast a long and interesting history, so how do you fit over 70 years of experience onto a single web page? The simply answer is that you can't, and the following should be regarded merely as a brief introduction to the Club, how it was formed and its gradual progression into the local motoring scene. Following the end of the Second World War, the restoration of a limited petrol allowance (initially for 2- and 3- wheelers) reignited many enthusiasts desire to contemplate competition motoring once again - a passion kept alive during hostilities thanks to nostalgic articles in the leading motoring magazines such as Motor Sport.
