Halifax Boxing Club
Sporting Club in Halifax, West Yorkshire
The Halifax Boxing Club was set up in October 2005 by Robert Paradise and Mick Rowe who are now two of our coaches. In October 2006 we moved to our impressive new premises in Ladyship Mills on Old Lane Boothtown Halifax. The last several months have seen us win significant sponsorship, numerous wins in competition and a membership of over 300 people. We're pleased to be the only ABA approved club in the area and have ABA trained and approved coaches.

About Us
read moreHalifax Boxing, Sport & Fitness Club is a community-based club which supports people from all backgrounds. We run on a non-for-profit basis as social enterprise, this means any surplus is ploughed back into the work of the club. Our aim is to include people from all parts of the community in activities at the gym to help promote health, well being and community engagement.

All the equipment required including handwraps, gloves, and head guards are available for use within the club free of charge. However those who progress to full contact sparring must wear a gumshield. For safety we recommend the latter is CE approved and fitted by your Dentist. The vast majority of generally healthy people below the age of forty years should see significant gains in their health and fitness by regularly attending our sessions.
