The Guildford Karate club was established in 1974 by its current senior instructor Sensei Barry Wilkinson. The club is a member of the England Wado Kai karate association which boasts a membership of 50 clubs located in the South of England and practices traditional Wado Kai karate. The club trains on Monday & Friday evenings at St Clares Church Hall. Karate assists build coordination, agility, strength and poise. The confidence earned through training assists foster a strong positive self image.
