This must be one of the most beautiful shops in Edinburgh. Primarily selling plants and gardening supplies for urban gardeners, they also serve great coffee. The shop is on the corner of a completely unique, historic tenement building and worth visiting for the architecture and interior alone.

Fantastic plants, fantastic service. Staff worked with me to create a large order for our workplace, including some very difficult spaces, and were incredibly patient with the back-and-forth on my side. The plants were delivered promptly and in beautiful condition, all with care instructions too. Grow Urban has been my go-to for plants for home, but now for work too - highly recommended.

Lovely coffee, and such calm sipping it amongst all this greenery! We were staying across the street and had very little time in Edinburgh, but the one thing I wanted to do before hitting the road was to come in here for a flat white. And I did. And it was great! Also, I thought the stationary and beautiful prints on the walls looked familiar: they're from French brand All the ways to say, which is super lovely. Thank you for this little haven of peace!

Went there for the first time because I needed advice and new soil. I was met with the nicest service I could have asked for. The staff are genuinely interested and knowledgeable about plants and the atmosphere is great. It's a beautiful little jungle that also does coffee. Will probably become a loyal customer now.

I visited Edinburgh for the weekend and happened to be staying round the corner from this place and so glad I stumbled in while waiting for the bus! such a lovely little shop! Some amazing plants and really reasonable prices. The coffee is DELICIOUS, I had to stop by there every morning before going off to explore Edinburgh. I did buy a little moss ball before leaving. The staff were really friendly so helpful and I'll definitely be back when I'm in Edinburgh

I really loved the ambiance at this cafe, being surrounded by all these gorgeous houseplants was lovely. They have a nice selection of plants, gardening tools, books, and some body care. Annoyingly I couldn't buy any plants because you're not allowed to bring plants from overseas back into my country, but if there was a place like this in my hometown I would hang out here every day. And the coffee here wasn't too bad!

Love this place so much. They do know how to take care of plants. And what a great selection! Have not yet tried having coffee there but probably an awesome experience drinking tea/coffee in such a lovely ambiance

Wonderful plant shop with interesting, well-maintained plants, attractive pots and various gardening supplies, mainly for houseplants. A touch on the pricey side, admittedly, but you get quality for what you pay. Coffee is excellent - in fact the best coffee in the surrounding area. It's my destination coffee shop when I'm nearby.

Cash-free, and a small beautiful shop full of greenery, the cappuccino I had was delicious. If asked if you would like sprinkles, say yes. They are small, decedent, dark chocolate shavings that melt on the hot milk foam. A lovely treat.

I've been a returning, long-term customer of Grow Urban because their standard of plants is so much higher than a lot of indoor plant shops. Their new website is easy to use and the have a good selection. The staff have always been helpful and polite when I've asked queries. Would totally recommend! :

Nice coffee and VERY delicious vegan cake! A super pleasant shop and non judgmental staff who were lovely and helpful. Got four plants and payed 95 for all but it depends on which plants you're getting, some of them can be expensive. There are also lots of smaller ones and budget friendly options, if you're thinking about going there for plants you'll definitely find the right option for you.

I love this shop and their online store. They have an amazing selection of unique plants that I'm obsessed with as well as the standard plants one expects to find. The concept of a hip garden shop with lush foliage where you can sit and get a coffee is wonderfully inspiring and relaxing.

Popped into this shop for the first time today and was very impressed. They have a wonderful selection of plants/pots/gardening implements and the service was fantastic! You can also have a coffee while you're browsing. Highly recommend! Sine the pandemic Grow Urban have closed their lovely little shop (which I miss dearly) but they are still selling plant/pots/accessories online.

One of the best stylish indoor plant shops with exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Very good quality plants, wide variety, many pots you don't come across elsewhere, and the coffee is good too. Definitely worth visiting.

Amazing new cafe / shop that's opened up recently - fantastic coffee and a wide selection of plants for your home. I've stopped in a few times to grab a coffee and the owners are really friendly and happy to chat about the plants they have in. Highly recommend popping in if you get the chance!
