Alternative Medicine Practitioner in Exeter, Devon
Alternative Medicine Practitioner in Exeter, Devon I changed my career eleven years ago to train as a homeopath. Homeopathy had already been part of my life for the previous ten years, having used homeopathic remedies to treat the animals on the farm where I live. It was the success of these early homeopathic cases that brought me to realise how powerful and effective homeopathy could be. I run my practice in Mid Devon and teach at various homeopathic colleges. I'm a supervisor for the registration process for newly-qualified members of the Society of Homeopaths.

read moreHomeopathy is enjoying unprecedented popularity worldwide. It is a sophisticated, precise and thoroughly modern medicine based on over two hundred years of development and research. The aim of the homeopath is to treat the person and not the disease. It is not enough to simply suppress symptoms, if a person is to be healed the underlying cause of their disease must also be removed. If you are new to homeopathy please browse this site for help with any questions you might have concerning either the medicine or my practice.
About Us
read moreMy Practice is in the middle of the beautiful Devon countryside, but is very easily accessible from Exeter, Okehampton, Chagford and surrounding villages. The practice room is very quiet and peaceful, with plenty of space outside to park your car. Appointments are unhurried, but begin punctually. Please note, I do not treat animals, due to the constraints of the law on the treatment of animals by non-veterinary practitioners, but I do teach farmers how to treat their own animals for "Homeopathy at Wellie Level" - a unique course based at Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
What To Expect When Seeing A Homeopath
read moreYour first appointment will take approximately 1 to 2 hours. During that time I will want to hear everything you can tell me about your current condition plus your full medical history. Homeopathy is a holistic therapy so I will also want to know about you as a person, your likes and dislikes, how you react to stress, and all the factors that make you an individual. I will be taking written notes and these are, of course, kept strictly confidential. There is no physical examination, you will be seated in a comfortable chair and will be given all the time you need to tell me everything I need to know.

Homeopathy Devon Ongoing Support
read moreHow well you do on your homeopathic treatment will depend partly on the accuracy of the remedy selected for you and partly on getting the right sort of on going support from me - the support that will help you and your individual situation (which may be different to the help that someone else needs). The remedy is selected from all the information you are able to give me. I always do my best to match this information as closely as possible to the remedy but sometimes some fine-tuning is needed until the most accurate (and therefore curative) remedy is found.
