At this time in light of the government announcement of another national lockdown, the deacons have regrettably taken the decision to close our GBC building once again. Whilst we are legally allowed to open, the overriding message from the government is for people to remain at home wherever possible.

read moreAs a church family, it is important to meet together to learn from God's word (the Bible), to join in prayer and also worship in song. Then there is always time, at the end of both morning services, to spend time together over refreshments. We would normally run the following services but these are postponed until further notice. There will be time for preaching from God's word, which aims to bring the Bible to life, alongside time for prayer. This also provides us with the opportunity of a traditional style of worship with the Church organ.

read moreJunior Church aims to show each child the love of Jesus and to teach them from the Bible. We provide a space for each child to develop their own relationship with God and encourage them to live and share their faith with those around them. Junior Church is organised in four age groups, from the Creche to School Year 9 (14 years old). The groups meet during the 11am Sunday service, except when there is an all-age worship service when the whole church meets together. This work is only possible through our team of skilled volunteers, made up of parents and members of the congregation.

Who died on the cross as a sacrifice for the sin of the world. Who was raised from the dead on the third day. Who ascended to the right hand of God where He serves as the only mediator between God and men. Who will come again to receive His people to Himself and establish His Kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the body: the judgement of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ, with the eternal joy of those made righteous through our Lord Jesus Christ and the eternal punishment of the unrighteousness.

read moreNUTS (Never Underestimate the Saviour) is a Youth group for young people attending secondary school (11-16). We meet on a Friday night 7pm - 9pm at different homes. Check our calendar to see when and where NUTS next meet up. NUTS is a great way to learn more about the Bible and how it is still relevant to our lives today! We have studied loads of different parts of the Bible such as the 'I am' sayings of Jesus and we have done the Christianity Explored course 'Christianity Youth'. Each week we always have time for games, chat and food!
