I've been a butcher for forty years now and can't recall wanting to do anything else for a living (apart from polishing Marilyn Monroe's ukulele in Some Like it Hot) Our listing in Rick Stein's Food Heroes comes about because of the quality of the meat we sell. It is fully-flavoured and suitability impressive no matter what the occasion. I try to buy as much of the meat I sell from the county of Northumberland and have only one provider for beef and one for pork. Currently we currently have 3 lamb suppliers to achieve better continuity of provide.
