We trust that brands exist because people do. Brands are not fixed and static 'entities' any more than people themselves are. People and brands are part of this complex, pretty, often mystifying web of connections we call culture. Culture is about feelings, ideas, values, memories, relationships, things. Much of it is built out of universal human truths, but even the most universal truths find expression in radically different ways. So the culture which brands and people interact with is both phenomenally rich and diverse, and constantly evolving. It is alive.
