Paul made an appointment to see us , measured and noted all the work to be done. Paul purchased all the required materials to match what we already had. He arrived dead on time every time he worked at our property. What I appreciated most was that he cleaned up everywhere that he worked before doing the next job. Paul gave me a very reasonable quote and fitted a brand new sink, shower, bath and toilet. All top drawer work, wouldn't hesitate to use Fixable again for other work around the house.

read moreFixable deserve a very good review. I am a landlord of 3 properties on St Leonard's Bank Edinburgh and I appointed Jo to fix my properties in June 2015. She has a great team of reliable people that fix everything and anything in a professional and cost-effective manner. For two years in a row they have handled all of my HMO tasks and they are always trying to cut costs for me and give me not only excellent work but also good value. I am based abroad so it is important that I have a reliable company that can hold keys to my properties and go out and conduct work as required and on time.

Anything is possible with Fixable - beds being fixed, holes where mice have got in being filled with steel wool and professionally finished, cupboard holes where mice get in being filled properly, joinery, electrical work, PAT tests, EICR certificates, gas safety certificates, fire safety certificates and even meeting with the Council to keep them happy. They have a very good diary and invoicing system and I am always happy to pay them straight away because they are a smaller firm but this means they can react quickly and can do jobs cost-effectively. I recommend both Jo and Paul at Fixable highly.

Ian came over and gave us an accurate quote in terms of price and the number of days the work would take. He arrived when he said he would, provided all of the materials required to complete the job and fixed anything which cropped up along the way. Dougie took care of the electrical work and Ian replaced our bathroom, fixed some leaks, installed kitchen units, plastered and painted our walls. Our house was left clean and tidy at the end of each day. All those jobs that had been on a long to do list were taken care of in 6 days!
