Farmers and Mercantile Insurance Brokers Ltd was established by the Managing Director, Nigel Wellings in April 1996. Having previously worked as a group secretary for NFU and NFU Mutual, Nigel's goal was to supply an independent Insurance service for farms and rural businesses. The firm currently has a team of 29, based from our offices in, Northamptonshire, Shropshire and Yorkshire; we cover the entire of England, Scotland and Wales (unfortunately we're unable to insure farms beyond this area but we can write overseas holiday properties)
