Dog Walking
read moreMany people want the joys of owning a dog but due to work, back problems, recent illness or other commitments are not able to provide their much loved pets with the adequate exercise or attention they require. This can be especially true in the winter when the paths are slippery and evenings are often dark before many people return home. A lack of exercise can also lead to behaviour problems such as inappropriate chewing or other distructive behaviour.

I provide dog walking in the High Wycombe and surrounding areas. Dogs are walked on their own locally to you and are walked on the lead unless you specify otherwise. You can be sure your dogs will be well cared for as I do not walk dogs from multiple households to ensure your dogs have my full attention. This is ideal if your dog does not enjoy the company of other dogs.

I have a Basic Disclosure Certificate from Disclosure Scotland, I am police checked and fully insured for dog training, walking and minding.

Some very basic reward based training can be carried out at no additional charge during the walk, exercising both mind and body. Examples include walking on a loose lead, sit before crossing a road and some basic recall work on a long line.

I offer a free introductory meeting to get to know you and your dog, to answer any questions you may have, and to give references and proof of insurance if necessary.

Contact me now to arrange your introductory meeting.

Charges for anyone in High Wycombe are:

12 for a one hour walk
15 after 6pm, bank holidays and weekends

If you own more than one dog an additional 2 is charged per dog per hour

If you live outside of High Wycombe there is a mileage charge of 50p per mile please contact me for details.

Alternatively if you require a shorter walk contact me and we can tailor the session to your needs.

If you work during the day or just happen to be going out for the day and dont want to leave your dog alone I can either check in on your dog or you could leave them with me for a few hours.
