Garvan and Grazyna Smith look ahead to providing you a warm welcome to the Eskdale Lodge Hotel. The Eskdale was founded in 1884 as a huge Victorian house. In 1958 the house was converted into a hotel, and then, in 1988, taken over by the Smith family Since then the Eskdale has been totally refurbished delivering the comfort of modem living whilst retaining the features of the original house.

All our bedrooms, however, have been recently refurbished, individually decorated and fitted to a high standard which include en-suite facilities, LCD flat screen television with additional satellite channels, FREE wireless internet connection, mineral water and a welcome tray consisting of tea and coffee making facilities and luxury biscuits. Full English 2 rashers of bacon, 1 egg, 1 sausage, mushrooms, tomato (fresh or tinned), black pudding and Heinz baked beans.
