Elm Ridge Play Group

Rev. Phil Clarke is minister at Elm Ridge Church and superintendent of the Darlington Methodist Circuit of 13 churches in and around Darlington. Phil came to Darlington in 2002, having been Director of Evangelism for the Methodist Church for eight years previously. In that role he taught at Cliff College, Derbyshire, a Methodist evangelism training college and led missions and training programmes for churches around the UK and abroad. Phil is married to Janet and they have two grown up kids, Helen and Andrew. Janet is a teaching assistant.
