The inspection report says that improvements are needed to ensure that services are effective and to ensure that services are well-led. The report states "The Practice has already identified and taken steps to address many of the issues raised during our inspection but as actions have been recent they were unable to demonstrate the impact or effectiveness". The inspection report refers to 2017/18 data and to issues outside the Medical Centre's direct control.

read moreElbury Moor and Worcestershire Association of Carers are providing this service dedicated to the support of carers. Carers can make an appointment with the GP Carer Support Adviser, Lisa Lynch who will be holding surgeries within our practice and also making home visits for those who are currently unable to leave the person they care for on their own. The support service is designed to reach out to carers, telling them about the support available to them and looking at numerous issues including social isolation, accessing correct benefits, respite care etc.

That's why it set up the Patient Forum so that patients have a chance to tell us which of our services serve patients well or which could be improved. For example, we discuss improving the appointment system or how to meet the needs of particular groups like young people. The Patient Forum is a friendly and relaxed group which meets about 3 - 4 times a year. If you would like to make a contribution in this way, please contact Jo Walker (Practice Manager).

read moreThere is ample parking for all patients at the surgery. However there are four parking spaces directly outside the front the surgery, which are reserved for disabled patients only. Please respect these spaces at all times. When parking in these spaces please ensure your disabled badge is displayed. The Practice has a comfortable room available for mothers to breast feed their baby. The room is located on the first floor. Please ask the Receptionist if you would like to use these facilities and she will be happy to direct you to the appropriate room.

It is an electronic record which contains information about the medicines you take, allergies you suffer from and any bad reactions to medicines you have had. Storing information in one place makes it easier for healthcare staff to treat you in an emergency, or when your GP practice is closed. This information could make a difference to how a doctor decides to care for you, for example which medicines they choose to prescribe for you.
