Since the city council founded us as a not-for-profit firm in 1998 to run their sport and leisure services, we have been working our little cotton socks off to create as many opportunities as we probably can for the people of Edinburgh to enjoy a healthier, happier and more active lifestyle. We are now a leading leisure trust with a turnover of J23 million and growing, 750 employees and over 4. 1 million clients a year. As a not-for-profit firm, any surplus we make is reinvested wisely into improving our services and into keeping our gyms, pools, halls, courts and everything else for that matter up to the tip-top standards our clients have come to expect.
