Edge & Son

Edge and Son in New Ferry was set up in 1844 but the Edge family had already been trading in meat for 2 generations prior to this date. We originated from the village of Edge near Tilston in Cheshire where our forefathers used to walk livestock to the ports of Liverpool to ship to the Isle of Man. The shop in New Ferry was founded in 1844. We currently have always based our business on delivering, what we consider, with our 6 generations of knowledge, the finest local bred, fed, kept stock we can source.
