read moreAs the golf season gets back under way, so does the scratch league. We entered 3 teams this year for a revised knockout tournament, as apposed to the usual league format. The B team had a cracking win beating Brampton A. The C team went away to Carlisle but just fell short coming up against a strong Carlisle team. With the A team getting a bye in the first round, this meant that the A & B teams would face off in round 2. In this game, there were a couple of close ties, but the A team manged to come out on top.

read moreJust wanted to drop you a wee line to say thanks for the excellent hospitality we received during our visit on Sunday. The staff were very friendly and attentive and looked after us so well. The course was in great condition and all the guys thoroughly enjoyed it. There was even talk of returning next year so i may be in touch soon! read moreYou don't need to be a member to enjoy our facilities, a warm welcome awaits visitors who wish to play at Eden Golf Club and tee times are available both during the week and at weekends. Tee times are subject to availability therefore we advise golfers to always make bookings in advance of their visit. Tee reservations can be made by contacting the Secretary's Office, or for a faster booking service, book online to get our fantastic green fee rates. Our 15 bay Driving Range is open from 7.30am until late evening, 7 days a week during peak times.

read moreThis years club championship turned out to be an enthralling one considering we only decided to hold the competition towards the end of the summer season. Credit needs to be given to our Competitions Secretary Brian Durham & members of the Gents committee for getting the Club Championship organised and staged in such a short period of time. Over 40 players battled it out over two qualifying rounds in order to progress to the knockout stage. It was great to feel the atmosphere around the club throughout the competition, with uncertainty as to who would qualify & then members trying to decide who would eventually lift the trophy considering how many tough draws the knockout stage gave us.
