Eastern Stars is a recreational ice hockey club based at Lea Valley Ice Centre, East London, UK. Our multinational squad run by an expert Russian coach plays a distinctive European influence hockey. 1st game Eastern Stars played on twelfth of April, 2000 at Alexandra Palace Ice Rink. Professional UK certified Russian hockey coach teaching hockey skills to players of all abilities. Skating, stick handling, tactics, off ice drills, personal recommendations. Skilled players will improve, beginners will learn the basics of hockey.

read moreEastern Stars IHC was founded in 2000 by Igor ILJIN and Vadim VINNIKOV. The first game the team based on players from Eastern Europe played on 12th April, 2000 at Alexandra Palace Ice Rink against so called "The Team of The World". Eastern Stars triumphed - 12:6. The first season (2000-2001) Eastern Stars won most of the friendly games, including victories over London Devils (Belgo), Slough Tornados, Streatham Chiefs, Romford Rangers and Logica Leopards. We only lost 2 official games during its first season (both to Streatham Chiefs).
Skate With Us
read moreWe are an international club and welcome players of all ages and abilities. We have former professional players from Eastern European and beginner hockey players from UK. Come and skate with us on Tuesdays at 9.45pm @ Lea Valley Ice Centre. We also play home and away games against other ice hockey teams in London and beyond. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose but you will never forget the excitement of first goal and the taste of beer afterwards. First and most importantly you need a will and desire to play - if there is a will there will be a play.
