These are your lessons so have a say in what you want to do and how you want the training to proceed. My job is to coach and guide you through the skills to get you to be the best that you can be.

This is a recognised qualification issued by the Driving Vehicle Standards Agency the organisation set up by the government to carry out your Driving test. I have over 10 years of experience of teaching people to drive around the Southampton area. I know the roads well and can help you learn them to help get you through your driving test. I have been rigorously tested to meet the requirements set out by the DVSA to teach to their standards and can therefor legally charge for this service.

read moreDrive With Dan use the pupil friendly Ford Fiesta for driving lessons in Southampton. Comfortable and able to fit pupils of all sizes. The vehicle has great all around vision and is very comfortable to take driving lessons in. For the purpose of learning to drive we will call the inside of the the car "The Cockpit". You will learn how to work the various controls in a smooth and safe manner to give you confidence to operate when the car is in motion. The Fiesta is a manual 5 geared petrol engine.

read moreYou have 2 years from the date of this pass to take your practical driving test. Failure to do so will result in you having to retake the theory test again before you can attempt the practical driving test. You are now ready to go for a drive and to show the examiner that you can drive in a safe and competent manner. Demonstrate your ability to drive to a reasonable standard, obeying the rules of the highway code. You will have to do 1 reversing manoeuvre and possibly do an emergency stop. The examiner knows you don't have years of experience so they will not expect you to drive to as high a standard as themselves so relax and do your best.
