About Us
read moreHypnotherapy can be effective in helping you overcome many challenges including: anxiety, blushing, depression, achieving goals, relationships, relaxation, stress, panic attacks, shyness and self-development. Hypnosis involves being in a state somewhere between awake and asleep. When very effective it is a feeling of deep relaxation and mental calmness. It can involve a feeling of altered awareness, even heightened awareness, it is like guided daydreaming. You are aware of everything taking place, but are also able to concentrate on what is happening in the hypnosis session.
Mindfulness Newport
read moreMindfulness is helpful in many ways and is used to deal with physical and mental problems. It can BE PRACTICED ANYWHERE AND DOING ANYTHING. It could be eating, drinking, especially alcohol, having a shower, cleaning your teeth, waiting in a queue, walking, running, washing dishes, clothes. It involves being aware of what is being done. In this sense, it is like self-hypnosis where you are in complete control and not in a zombie-like trance. This means it can be good for weight control as mindful eating means being aware of what one IS eating.
