Dr I Sidat

The Surgery was originally that of Dr E Idris Williams and Dr Frances M Bennett who moved to these premises in 1969 from the opposite side of Chorley Old Road (where the bank is now located) They were joined by Dr P A Saul in 1972 as junior partner and Dr Rodgers as part-time GP in 1977. Both Dr Williams and Dr Bennett left the practice within 12 months of each other and in 1980 Dr Saul became senior partner, Dr Rodgers became a complete-time partner and they were joined by Dr Ian James in 1980 and Dr J Priest in 1990. Dr Rodgers retired in 1996.
