Dimensions was one of the pioneers of personalised support, showing how it works in practice, and enabling thousands of people to have greater choice and control.

Most colleagues tell us they like working for Dimensions so our staff retention rates are more than double the sector average. That means we build better long term relationships with the people we support. Commissioners trust us; we work with more people every year. And 95% of Dimensions services are currently rated Good or Outstanding by CQC/CIW (at November 2019.)

read moreIn 1976, armed with a single phone in a rented office, Dimensions began supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs out of institutions, helping them lead ordinary lives in their local communities. Forty years on, our work is fundamentally unchanged: we support people with learning disabilities and autism to have a louder voice, choice and control in their lives. Our 7000 colleagues deliver ambitious, effective, personalised support often with those whose previous support has not been successful.
