The boss Adam really knows his stuff, any questions we had, he answered in detail and explained everything to us. He has great work ethics and high standards. They damp proofed the bathroom and hallway, dot 'n' dab walls, put up new ceilings, skimmed, fitted new bathroom and tiled some Italian honed limestone tiles with mosaics, with new skirtings and doors. We never expected it to be so beautiful, it had the wow factor! They made a feature of the ceiling and window, with curved flowing lines, really opening it up letting the natural light flood in, totally unexpected, it was so dark and boring before! We feel proud to show it off and would highly recommend them to anyone!

read moreThis job was huge, our cottage was rundown and in ruins as it was left empty for over a year and was very damp. We didn't know who to get to do the work. A few years ago we got two companies to do work for us in the cottage, they made a total mess of all the work which needed put right on top of all the other work. We needed a company we could trust , our friends suggested them to us so we went to view their work - we picked up the phone that night! They came to do a survey and run through everything that needed to be done. They started work and did everything, damp proofing, dot 'n' dab, new ceiling, fireplace, skirtings, all doors, joinery, electrics, plumbing, decorating and structural work. Adam had a vision to make it open plan. When he sketched it out we gave him the go ahead. The final result looked like it had always been there, it looked beautiful! The attention to detail is very good, lots of flare, lime render on the chimney breast for a different texture, showing us the colours and ideas for walls, skirting and all woodwork. The final interior looks very vintage, so sophisticated! They also did all the outside work, new drainage system, flags, chippings down, new chimney and fixed the flu - now the fire roars! All work was done to high specifications and standards, so refreshing after the bad luck we had with other companies. They are a company you can trust and they really do care!

read moreI can't recommend Davidson's DPR enough, they did an amazing job diagnosing and dealing with serious penetrative damp at my grandmother's house and sorting out all the plastering, electrics and plumbing work that was affected as part of the process. Adam is great to deal with, he is knowledgeable and professional but friendly and approachable. I was ill in hospital during the time of the work and he dealt with everything as much as possible without bothering us but still kept us informed all the way throughout the process.
