You will be expected to take involvement in projects from the start, assisting with the preparation of estimates and costs of the work. Once the project is in progress, your responsibilities will involve keeping track of any variations, valuing the works against progress, assisting in the preparation of cost reports and negotiation of the final account. You should have a good knowledge of construction methods and materials, be well organised and want a professional level job.
