read moreWe have three main entry points into the School: Coworth Flexlands Nursery (rising 3 years), Reception (rising 5 years) and Year 3 (rising 8 years) but children are welcome to join at any point provided there is space in the appropriate class. Children join Coworth Flexlands Nursery at the start of the term in which they reach their third birthday. There are three intakes into school - in September, January and April. Girls are admitted from the term when they turn 3 years of age to 11 years, while boys are admitted from rising 3 to 7 years (leaving us at the end of Year 2).

read moreIn order to provide the personal attention that every child deserves, from Year 3 (age 7) classes are split into small groups of around 10 pupils for core academic subjects, each taught by specialist teachers. This provides teachers with the flexibility to modify lessons to best meet the needs of everyone in the group. As groups are taught simultaneously, they may come together when this is for the optimum benefit of the pupils, such as for debate and the exchange of ideas. Classes are kept together for PE, Forest School, drama, music and any other subject where a larger group is an advantage.
