This popular bed & breakfast establishment is located in a quiet conservation area within the historic City of Carlisle and just a 1/4 mile of the 'West Coast' main line railway station. Some 150 years old, Cornerways retains many of it's original Victorian features including a tiled hallway and cast-iron balustrade to the stairway. We are only 5 minutes' walk to many excellent restaurants, bars, shops the railway & bus stations. We are equally popular with tourists & walkers, alongside a range of visitors coming to Carlisle for a variety of events, business or just a romantic break. Some 170 years old, Cornerways retains many of its original Victorian features including a 'Minton' tiled hallway and cast-iron balustrade to the stairway.

In the hallway we offer delicious 'bean to cup' speciality Rijo Coffee. For guests who need a very early start we provide a chilled takeaway breakfast sandwich or for guests wandering off the beaten track we can provide freshly made hearty packed lunches.
