read moreEstablished in 2003 Cool & Heat was originally based in Preston and offered air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration services to customers all over the UK. In 2013 Cool & Heat was acquired by ACE Group (Engineering) Ltd and took up residence at offices in Radcliffe, Manchester. A year later the company gained its first ISO standards which it has maintained ever since. From then on Cool and Heat has grown in size and has evolved into a comprehensive HVAC supply, installation and maintenance business with a focus on circular economy and sustainability in line with our customer's values.

read moreInitially founded in 2003 by original directors Marcus and Kevin, Cool & Heat was a North West based Air Conditioning Company with a handful of engineers. Several years later after the untimely death of Kevin, Marcus continued to run the business which was steadily growing its customer base. At a similar time, ACE Group was looking to further expand its portfolio after acquiring Airvane in 2010. In 2013, ACE successfully acquired Cool & Heat bringing new resources and opportunity which in turn would help Cool & Heat grow.

At a luxury retailer we installed and continue to maintain close control air conditioning in the communications and computer rooms. At North West College we installed and continue to maintain the air conditioning and ventilation systems.

Much of our refrigeration service and maintenance work is done on behalf of facilities management companies. We have a particularly strong position in leisure and catering refrigeration in the North West. Over the last few years however we have been developing our Nationwide customer base. We have maintenance contracts for the refrigeration systems of several leisure establishments in Manchester city centre and also in the area around Manchester airport.
