The course is 6,357 yards long with two par-5s, four par-3s and a par of 70 (73 for ladies). We are a non-profit making members club, owned and run by the members for the benefit of the members and the local community.

It's a great place to fine-tune your game and provides the perfect warm-up and practice area - exclusively for members and their guests. This brilliant new facility was opened in 2018 and allows members and guests to shape their skills all-year round - come rain, hail or shine. Colchester's board decided to invest in the eight-bay driving range to boost the club's already impressive practice facilities after listening to suggestions from members.

read moreColchester Golf Club is only two miles from Colchester Town Centre, just over a mile from Colchester North Station, and has easy access to and from the A12. Our Parmenter Room may be hired out for private functions such as business meetings, parties and wakes. We offer full catering facilities and waitress and bar services. The Parmenter Room has the capacity for up to 100 people for sitdown dinner. Air-conditioned, it also has technology to include a sound system and screen with wifi access, as well as having direct access onto the beautiful terrace overlooking the 1st and 18th holes.

read moreWe are a friendly and energetic group of 150 ladies within the Club, 120 of whom are playing members. Regularly we have between 50 and 60 ladies playing in our Tuesday competitions and with roll-ups on Thursdays and Saturdays, we have ladies playing most days of the week. Our ladies section is well-established: by 1909 there were 35 lady members and the first recorded meeting of the ladies section took place in 1911. Since then the ladies section has grown into a thriving and vibrant section of the Club with many competitions and activities taking place throughout the year designed to cater for golfers of all abilities and handicaps.
