Our driving instructors only use the most up-to-date tuition vehicles with excellent safety features. All the cars used by our driving school have universally been acclaimed by the motoring press. Stylish, fun to drive and, above all, safe - the cars we use are, in our opinion, amongst the best cars for learning to drive. All our cars are fitted with dual controls, power steering and ABS for your safety and are equipped with a number of other features for your comfort.
Driving Instructors
read moreAll of our instructors are Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructors (DVSA ADI) which means they are fully qualified to give driving tuition and that the standards of their teaching are routinely checked by the DVSA. In addition, they are all members of the Driving Instructors Association (DIA), are fully checked by the (DBS) Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly the (CRB) Criminal Records Bureau) and abide by the ADI Code Of Practice. We do not use any trainees to teach our customers.
Theory Test
read moreSince July 1996, obtaining a UK driving licence has involved passing a driving theory test prior to taking the practical driving test. Until 2000 when it became computer-based, this was a written exam. In November 2002, the multiple-choice exam was joined by the hazard perception test. Learner drivers need to take and pass the theory test before applying for a practical driving test. If you already hold a driving licence for another category of vehicle eg. Motorcycle or Automatic car, you may not be required to take another theory test.

Driving Tests
read moreThe practical test is a test of your ability to drive a car without assistance. It covers a range of situations and road conditions and involves demonstrating ability to manoeuvre the car safely. Many people find the practical driving test quite daunting and can suffer from test nerves. Learning how to overcome these nerves can make the difference between passing or failing.
Pass Plus
read moreAfter you pass your driving test, taking Pass Plus can help you improve your road skills and may save you money on your car insurance. Pass Plus is a training scheme specifically aimed at new drivers. Designed by the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) with the help of insurers and experts in the industry, it will build upon your existing skills and knowledge and teach you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards, which will help you to become more confident on the roads.
Show Me Tell Me
read morePractical Driving Test candidates will need to answer two questions on routine vehicle safety checks during their test. One question will be a "tell me" (only a verbal explanation of the procedure is required) asked at the test centre at the start of the test and one will be a "show me" (i.e. Getting either or both of the Show Me / Tell Me questions wrong would only result in a single driving fault being marked. However, as one of these questions is asked at the very beginning of your test, it makes sense to show the examiner that you are well prepared for the test so make sure you know how to answer all the questions.
