read moreWe are anticipating that shielding will end in Scotland from the end of this week, and so we will be able to see ANYONE who wants an appointment, although this is subject to advice from the Scottish Government. We are still working under restrictions and most of the new regulations are still in place, however we will be able to have two chiropractors here at the same time, working in different areas, which means more appointment availability - hooray! If you would prefer to have an appointment at a time where only one chiropractor is working we can still accommodate that, but there will be limited availability and you may not be able to see your usual chiropractor.

Our spine acts as a protective armour for our nervous system, which controls and co-ordinates all the functions of the body. Millions of messages pass from the brain out to the organs and tissues through the spinal cord and nerves, and signals are sent back through the same pathway to the brain to confirm if the body is working correctly. Aches and pains can be a sign that your body isn't working correctly, but we shouldn't judge our health solely on the presence or absence of symptoms.

It aims to prolong the benefit of the treatment, by giving ongoing support, reducing pain, and aiding in rehabilitation. It is a commonly used modality by physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths and massage therapists. The tape can be applied in various patterns, directions, and tensions depending on what the chiropractor is aiming to achieve. It can provide support and stability to joints and ligaments, and can be used to facilitate or inhibit muscles, all whilst maintaining the body's natural range of motion.
