read moreFounded in 1974, C.L.A. Tools is a family run business currently in its second generation. From design board through to volume production we work closely with our customers offering support and technical advice to ensure continuous improvement of service. Our team of highly skilled CAD engineers, programmers, setters and operators, produce quality machined components, from one or two specialist prototype parts to thousands off milled or turned parts per annum. From 1 or 2 specialist parts produced by CLA's expert manual millers to 10,000 plus milled or turned parts per annum.

read moreCLA prides itself on the quality of components manufactured. Responsiveness to customer demands means cost effective production from complex prototypes to low/medium volume. Normally we estimate a lead time of 3-4 weeks, depending on the complexity of the part and how busy we are at the time of the enquiry. If a quicker delivery is needed, CLA will always endeavour to meet customer requirements. All subcontract processes will be covered by Certificates of Conformity. CLA Tools provide us with machined parts for prototype transmission assemblies.

Our turning team has many years of experience in producing parts and offering innovative fixture design to hold and swing the most difficult of components. From small bar fed production parts to complex prototype components, solid and cast, CLA's turning team are experienced in a wide range of materials including aluminium, stainless steels, cast iron, nylon, brass and titanium.
