read moreChristian Life Ministries (or 'CLM' as we are usually known) is a vibrant, multi-national, Pentecostal church, with over 50 different nationalities represented, from across all age groups. Sunday services provide the main context for corporate worship and teaching, although connection, discipleship and outreach are outworked through a growing number of midweek ministries, meetings and small groups. The church was founded in Coventry in 1936 and established its first church building on the present site in 1937.

read moreAt CLM we are passionate about outworking our faith in Jesus in practical ways - serving those in need as we seek to make a positive difference in Coventry and beyond. Rather than launching our own 'CLM Projects' to show compassion and address need, we have taken the step of working proactively in unity and partnership with other churches and organisations. Accordingly, we are now actively involved in a number of different projects and expressions of mission - giving financially and encouraging members of the CLM congregation to be involved.

read moreFor our 21 Days of Prayer, we are encouraging as many people as possible to stop at Midday to pray the Lord's Prayer - at home, at school, at work, wherever! Each of our three weeks will have a main focus or theme this year and each day has a Bible verse in line with that theme. Why not use the daily verse in your personal time with God. The Daily Verse can be found on Pages 10-15 of our Prayer Guide. If you are part of a Life Group/Student Connect, we encourage you to prioritise meeting together during this special time of prayer.

read morePrayer is an extremely high value for us as a church - privately and corporately. We carry a deep conviction that prayer changes things. Firstly, it changes us! Secondly, it is abundantly clear to see from scripture that the early church was powered by prayer. It was undoubtedly one of the most highly-valued priorities of the early disciples as they experienced the birth of the Church and the explosive advancement of the Gospel. Every move of God in history has been preceded by fervent prayer. Each month, we hold a Prayer and Praise gathering, typically on the first Friday of each month.
