Our mission at Christ Church is to preach the Bible clearly, thoughtfully and relevantly, helping everyone to know God through Christ and live for Him in the 21st century. Christ Church is a Church of England consecrated chapel (an Anglican church with no parish) It's in Westbourne, where Bournemouth meets Poole. Some in our congregation come from the nearer surroundings and others from all across town.

As you'll notice if you come along, the Bible therefore takes centre stage in all our main Sunday meetings. Many people make fun of the Bible, but as evangelical Christians, we take it seriously. The foundation of all that we do at Christ Church is a living, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We are committed to growing in our knowledge and love of Him as we learn from the Bible together and we are committed to encouraging one another in lives that serve Him.
Prayer
read moreOur prayer meetings begin by reminding ourselves of what God is like and what God has done. So a Bible is a great tool to bring! Then we take time to pray through some of the needs of our world, our nation and our church, usually in small groups of 6-8 people. Those who come find the prayer meetings the most encouraging mid-week meetings of the month. We certainly believe they're the most important!
